Vincent Thompson is an architect and Town planner. He qualified in 1979. Prior to setting up VTA he worked in both public and private sectors. In private practice he worked for Frederick Gibberd Coombes, Michael Haskoll, and Leslie Jones. He has worked for many years at senior level in the design and construction of arts and leisure, commercial, business, residential, retail, education and training projects.

John qualified as an architectural technician in 1979. In private practice he has worked for Diamond Architects, Elsom Pack Roberts, Hunter Partners and the Halpern Partnership, where he worked at senior level on the design and construction of commercial hotels and office developments, residential, retail, arts, and leisure, and health projects.
